As you probably know, we’ve been covering every Fil Bo Riva release since the announcement of his debut album, Beautiful Sadness. Highlights include ‘Go Rilla’ and ‘L’Over’, but on the day of the release, ‘Different But One’ is a stand out gem. At 9-minutes long, it is given time to progress and build into an indie rock masterwork, full of noisy guitars and catchy melodies that show off Fil Bo Riva’s diverse vocal talent. As he says about the common love theme found on the album: "I wrote about things I was going through; issues, problems, and beautiful things with my girlfriend".
